For this small amount of money you get all this:

SPECIAL VALUE SHORT CHARTERS: Although our charters are normally for a minimum period of four hours (& four hours fly by!) it is occasionally possible to run shorter morning charters or late afternoon/evening charters at a much reduced cost if we can fit you in before or after a standard charter booking. Special value short charters can normally only be booked within 14 days of the day you want when we have a clear view of the booking situation. Despite spiralling
fuel, berthing and insurance costs we continue to keep our prices very low.
Bearing in mind that you can pay nearly £20
for one hour's hire of a rowing boat on a river, our prices
come into proportion and represent truly excellent value for money.
We don't think you'll find any comparable charter at a lower cost,
but if you do, please let us know and we'll do everything we can
to beat it.

CANCELLATION DUE TO POOR WEATHER/SEA CONDITIONS
All charters are weather dependent and our skipper will never take
to sea if he feels that the safety of the boat or passengers could
be compromised by doing so. At all times his decision on this matter
is final. If there is any doubt as to the suitability of the weather
it is required that guests contact the company during the morning
to check whether the charter is likely to go ahead. In the event
of cancellation due to poor weather or sea conditions or non-availability of boat or skipper for whatever reason a full refund
of monies paid will be made unless an alternative date can be arranged.
If the conditions deteriorate whilst at sea there are plenty of bolt-holes and alternative calm-water venues to visit. Note that it is the responsibility of guests to provide suitable
warm and waterproof clothing and non-slip footwear for all conditions.
PAYMENT, THE SMALL PRINT & OTHER INFORMATION
A deposit of £50 must be paid at the time of booking which is refundable up to 14 days before the agreed date of charter (full terms & conditions are available). The balance is payable 14 days in advance of the agreed charter date. Our preferred method of payment is by cheque or bank transfer. We can accept credit and debit cards but make a £5 surcharge to cover our costs.
We are not licensed to sell or serve alcohol. For safety reasons we do not accept guests under the age of 5 years.
It should be possible for guests to take a turn at the helm under the
supervision of the skipper if conditions are considered suitable.
Swimming from the boat may be possible at some venues although this is entirely at swimmer's risk. Private changing
facilities are available in the cabin. A cold water rinse is available
on board and hot showers upon return to base.
*Route taken, places visited, activities offered
and opportunity to take the helm will depend upon weather, light,
visibility, wind and sea conditions.
- Maximum 4 persons plus crew.
Price INCLUDES boat, skipper, fuel, soft drinks and/or hot drinks
for a half-day (minimum 4 hours) on-board
time charter.
- Half day charters can be extended (when available) at
a low hourly charge - prices on application. Children under the
age of 5 years are not accepted. A £5
surcharge is payable on Credit Card transactions. Full terms & conditions
